Jesmond Psaila is a certified public accountant and registered auditor who has been operating as a sole practitioner since 1995 after having gained considerable experience with the big four firms.

As a boutique firm JP & Associates has a varied client base which includes sole traders, Maltese and foreign owned companies together with other entities such as Trusts and Foundations. It also provides advisory services to business startups and assists in other more specialized areas such as mergers, liquidations and cash flow projections. It collaborates with a number of other professionals in the financial services sector. The firm currently consists of 4 staff members each allocated to two departments, namely the Audit section, which handles the preparation of audited financial statements
and the related taxation matters and the Accountancy section which carries out the accounting function for its corporate and non-corporate clients together with preparation of VAT returns and payroll. The growth experienced in the audit section over the past months has brought upon the need to employ another staff member in this department.

The set-up has grown over the years and will be moving into new offices in Balzan Valley, Balzan. Hence is in the process of rebranding and upgrading its website.
